Molong Express -
Digital subscription terms and conditions
Subscription & billing
Pricing: All subscription prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of goods and services tax.
Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (every four weeks, 26 weeks, or annually). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. To avoid being charged for the next period, please ensure you cancel at least 24 hours before your current billing period ends. Once cancelled, you will retain access to the Molong Express until the end of your current paid period.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for a "change of mind." However, this policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a remedy in the event of a major service failure.
Access & usage
Device Limit: A subscription entitles you to access the Molong Express on up to three devices simultaneously.
Personal Use: Subscriptions are for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not share your account login credentials with other individuals or organisations.
Community standards & intellectual property
Prohibited Conduct: You must not use our content (articles, headlines, photos) for data scraping, or for training AI models or machine learning datasets.
Copyright: All content on the Molong Express is our property (or that of our contributors) and is protected by copyright law. Reproduction or distribution without express written permission is prohibited.
Service availability and performance
Our Commitment: The Molong Express team makes reasonable efforts to ensure our digital platform is accessible and fully functional for our subscribers at all times.
Service Limitations: You acknowledge that digital services rely on third-party infrastructure (such as internet service providers and hosting platforms) beyond our direct control. Accordingly, we do not warrant that our service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure from unauthorised access. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend access for planned maintenance, security updates, or technical repairs.
Subscription Adjustment: We believe you should only pay for the service you receive. In the event of a significant service outage lasting 24 hours or more, we will adjust your subscription period by extending your access for a duration equal to the downtime, ensuring you receive the full value of your subscription.
Updates to terms
We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
6. Liability & governing law
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Molong Express excludes all liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of our service. Our liability for any direct loss is limited to the extent required by the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions and any agreement which includes or incorporates these terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia and the courts of appeal from them.
