Competitions and giveaways run by us
From time to time, Grassroots Media or its publications may run competitions and giveaways for our readers.
Unless otherwise stated:
Entry is free.
Entries must be received by the advertised closing date and time.
Winners will be selected as described in the competition details.
Winners may be contacted by phone or email and may have their name and town published.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to substitute a prize with one of similar value if necessary.
Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
We reserve the right to cancel, amend or withdraw a competition if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary.
Competitions and giveaways run by others
Grassroots Media or its publications may promote or publish competitions and giveaways that are run by advertisers, businesses, community groups, or other organisations.
Where a competition or giveaway is run by another organisation:
That organisation is responsible for conducting the competition and supplying the prize.
Any questions, complaints or disputes should be directed to the organisation running the promotion.
We are not responsible for the administration of the competition, the selection of winners or the delivery, quality or suitability of any prize unless we are specifically identified as the organiser.
By entering any competition or giveaway, participants are taken to have accepted these terms together with any additional terms published for that promotion.
